Just wanted to take a moment to share my experiences with Mike & the rest of the crew at Hilbilly Still. I have purchased one of the top of the lone stills from Hillbilly stills, and since that additional order I have ordered time after time of more accesories & supplies and the Greatest thing about these guys is Supreme customer service. It seems anytime I have any question big or small I can usually get Mike or Matt on the phone and I hope they realize how appreciated this is from loyal customers and all the future customers. One of the Great things is how fast I get supplies when I place an order. So Hillbilly Still Crew keep up the good work & never loose sight of how important great customer service is. Obviously you guys have nailed it... Many thanks from someone who will remain a loyal customer.

June 15, Labor of Love.

Buy one, ARE YOU CRAZY? Unless you are an anal creative guy with a ton of tools and time, buy one. Buy one before Kentucky Shinner wises up and raises his prices.
(No he did not pay me to say this) And if you could get an OD piece? Who wouldn’t jump at that.

I buy at a wholesale plumbing supplier and KS sold me a few feet at the same price per foot that I would have had to pay and buy a full ten foot length. His price on the reducer was cheaper. At the price he quotes on his web site, I could buy all the materials, a twelve pack and get to work.

The amount of hours in making plates, drilling them and the time and work to make your coolers is huge. If you want to make booze, buy one.

Yes, I enjoyed building mine. It was a labor of love. I am sure as hell not going into the flute building business. I can make five cents an hour elsewhere.

I ordered one of these HillBilly Flutes from www.HillBillyStills.com about 6 weeks ago.  It took a few weeks for it to ship because it was custom made by hand just for me.  When it came in the mail, it was very well packaged.  When I opened up the boxes, I was astonished at the weight of this thing!!!  It is solid copper, and is very heavy duty.  

I have run 3 or 4 different stills in the past (both pot stills, and reflux stills).  This is the best of both worlds.  I can run at pot still speed, but have a high ABV like a reflux still (90%+ every time at 1+ gallons per hour!).  If I want a flavored spirit, I only run it once.  If I’m going for a neutral I will run the product 2 or 3 times to strip out the flavors. 

The HillyBilly Flute is the real deal!  It is clear that this is hand made by a true craftsman!  You can’t go wrong with this Still.
