Better for grain, this is NOT a turbo yeast, I mill my own grain (old fashion process and very time consuming) but I want the very best product so will recommend this yeast. Takes about a week to get a good mash, yeilds high, up to 185% is the best I have had, I also culture it and so far have managed 10 runs from one yeast culture. Bottom line, allows for good flavor and reliable to use.
